1·1 month agoThat’s definitely going to be a solved problem very soon with RAG LLMs. I have a friend who works in LLM research and it’s crazy how much progress they make so quickly. Their cutting edge stuff he shows me makes GPT-5 look like a toddler.
Everyone should just use Signal. And donate to them! It’s easy enough that my grandma can use it somewhat

Well, to be fair, the green part is my economic output with my labor plus my employer’s capital. My labor by itself is useless in my field without billions of dollars of capital used with it.
No one is saying use capitalism to regulate capitalism. There are ways to regulate capitalism other than uprooting the system as a whole. For example, I think democratic socialism is shown to be a very good first step in a late-stage capitalist society to bring about equity. Once that is achieved, it would be a LOT easier to transition to socialism and then communism.

People having to work less is the whole point. UBI is not about increasing economic productivity. It’s about distributing the fruits of the productivity more equitably.
