I’ve been bought a nice wallet which has an airtag slot on the front of it. I use android and therefore don’t want to put an airtag in to the slot, but also don’t want to leave it empty.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to put in there instead. Googling is pretty useless as I keep just getting reviews for other AirTag wallets.
Depends on tolerances, I’d probably see if a Chipolo or some other tracker would fit. Android ones are coming very soon.
Assuming Google actually gets their finger out and enable the system…
I thought the hills up was as apple failing too implement safety features?
Samsung’s tracker is pretty dang good. Use it on my keys!
A strong neodymium magnet so you can stick your wallet to your fridge.
If you still have cards with magnetic swipe strips, you’re gonna have a bad time.
And floppy disks

What about an Android alternative? I don’t use any, so can’t recommend, but I’m sure one of them will be a knockoff of a similar size.
and google is releasing their own find-my-device alternative very soon (currently waiting for apple), so you could put something like a Chipolo tag in there, once they are released (they have bluetooth onces, but they don’t use the new network)
personalized pin maybe?
11 Grams of gunpowder
You did the maths?
I did the minimum math… I didn’t really feel like figuring out the exact density of an air tag. It is definitely more than 11 grams by volume of gunpowder, but how much I cannot say.
I am lazy… and Googling Airtag volume just displays results about the actual loudness of an airtag alert.
There is also the question of whether you would just compress the gunpowder into a puck, or store it inside an airtag shaped container. If the latter you might even lose a gram of gunpowder.
A half dollar coin. A condom.
Haha
A tile tracker or Samsung galaxy tag
What kind if wallet is it, and may we see it and this slot?
