Assuming for a second that the blood drinking bit is true, if it was an allied military doing that they’d call it a hazing and shrug it off. But since it’s China its a “ritual”. Wooooo, spooky!

I bet China is just as much of a paper tiger as Russia turned out to be.

It doesn’t matter what I do. The world leaders aren’t going to ask me for my opinion. But I hope that’s the case.

i wouldnt bet on that. china has working aircraft carriers after all. hell they got a never finished soviet carrier, finished it, launched it, gave it a useful life, and retired it to a training vehicle all while russias all but finished carrier is falling apart. in a conventional fight against the us theyd probably lose i wouldnt call them a paper tiger without more to back it up. afterall they got sheer numbers on their side if they want to go that route.

China has far more troops and money than Russia did. Whether they can sustain an invasion and occupation remains to be seen, but Hong Kong is under their thumb, and Taiwan is in perpetual stalemate. Xi also doesn’t need to placate the oligarchy the same way Putin does, either. Any military operations would likely be short and tactical use of overwhelming force.

Winnie the Pooh might not learn from the mistakes of others, but Xi does.
