After seeing other submissions, I’m strangely feeling a bit too nerdy and on Lemmy that speaks loudly…
Anyhow - this “song” is a must.

Beacons of Gondor
Wow, I love it! the monument is super cool, but I’m especially impressed by the forest and the mountain, how awesomely you suggest them with just a bunch of scribbled lines! and how the trees are scattered is also super cool! did you use some reference for them, or is it purely from imagination?
Thank you!
I did use a reference. It is loosely based on a screenshot from lotro, it’s the Min-Rimmon beacon.Even though I played the game, honestly I don’t recall it anymore. I played on release so it was couple of blinks ago. (2007 … The game almost able to drink in the us … Pfffft)
Cool! FWIW, I like your vision and rendering way more than the crappy screenshots I’m able to find 😂
Appreciate it! :). InkTober is really a challenge, because it is not my choice of medium.
Then maybe that’s why your lines are so evocatively sparse and loose, because you’re trying to avoid it and escape by finishing as quickly as possible? 😂
edit: I wonder what’s your fave medium then, in your past posts I seem to see only some yarn stuff otherwise, is that the one?
I tried to make it minimal, the trees were intentionally scritch-scratched :).
Because I don’t like ink it is really a challenge to push myself to do it. I bet I improved in this last 20 days - but it is painful :D. With ink if you make a decision you have to commit to it - there is no undo…Right now I am big into lace jewelry.
I prefer graphite over ink, but digital is the easiest way to create. Either painting or using InkScape to create vectorized art over a sketch. And I do like torturing innocent LLMs to make me tools for my crafts also :) this isn’t art but I definitely call it a creative process.
