We are used to.
Yeah. It has more of an “It is this time of the year again.” vibe to it.
Slop. The dog on the right is ai gen. Check his paw. Also he’s sitting on the chair and table?
I thought you meant the couple, didn’t notice the this is fine slop 🤮🤮
Oh yeah, I meant the dog. I’ll edit my comment to make that more clear
Not everyone has a Microsoft paint license to be able to paste these two photos together.
There was a fire alarm (not drill) in the department store I worked at 10 years ago. The managers didn’t know what was going on and were running around like headless chickens.
It was up to us lowly minimum wagers to evacuate the customers. One woman said, “But I want to buy this jumper.” I had to tell her there’s a fire alarm and she needs to evacuate.
“But how will I buy this jumper?”
I’m like, just leave it there, you can buy it when we’re allowed back in.
One other colleague had a customer who refused to leave the restaurant because she wanted to finish her fish and chips.
And one colleague took advantage of the situation to pocket a bunch of money from the till.
After personally experiencing the 2020 Portland “riots”, I can only imagine the media is blowing these way out of proportion.

WTF?
Reporters desperate for a specific image. From his first inauguration. https://washingtonian.com/2017/01/20/searching-metaphor-reporters-flock-burning-dc-garbage-can/
God forbid people take their union protected breaks.
reminds me of that one guy rating croissants in Paris during protests
They booked that table weeks ago.
“I just want to acknowledge the staff not depicted for their dedication and professionalism. In the dystopic hellscape of the future, you’ve got to respect the hustle of people who still have to make a buck; rain, shine, riot, revolution, or apocalypse. 5 stars.”
the word “French” on that sentence was unnecessary, almost as it was used as an adjective, as French was a particular type of protest
We all know real French protests end with heads in baskets. Otherwise it’s just sparkling civic action.
this is literally a scene in the movie “brazil”.
Is this precision protesting/riot?
Parisian? And if so, yes. John Stewart did a bit on them last night, how JD Vance is trying to make it about evil immigrants when everyone knows there’s nothing more basically French than storming the Bastille, and showed this couple as an example of how it’s so normale.
No, actually meant precision. Like, no collateral damage. Yes, I saw that bit today on YT. With the jogger lady doing her jogging. Never had I wanted to be part of a protest so bad.
Oh, gotcha!
