I don’t think this is meant as seriously as I’m taking it, but I’ll bite: I think it’s a good thing to remember that the bourgeois are human, because it reminds us that there isn’t anything unique about the people who are, nor the people who aren’t, and that bourgeois brainworms can attack at any time, even if one’s material position is definitely not bourgeois.
Also that material conditions can be shaped such that bourgeois tendencies are minimized.
It’s ideology and hegemony all the way down.
