Paramount Pictures is developing a live-action film set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe

Lorenzo di Bonaventura is attached to produce alongside CD Projekt Red

I see two potential outcomes here. Either this movie never gets made or we’ll wish it had never been made. Lorenzo di Bonaventura has previously produced movies such as Madame Web, Transformers: The Last Knight, the GI Joe movie Snake Eyes, and Doom: Annihilation (did you know they made a second Doom movie??). That isn’t a good sign.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m always excited for any new cyberpunk movie and I will watch it if it comes out. I just know to set my expectations low.

    They’ll likely get the aesthetics right but the themes horribly wrong. So take that however you want.

    I’m a huge fan of cyberpunk! I can’t wait to pirate this movie, as any true fan will.

    I have about as high hopes for this movie as I do for the Watch_Dogs movie that supposedly wrapped filming in 2024. After being in development since 2015.

      I will often find utubes of people playing games I’m too lazy to play.

      It’s rough finding someone who does just the right amount of talking. Or the right amount of searching! My god it’s like 2 choices

      “Laser focused on completing the story quickly “

      Or “I’m going to search every single container and read allowed every single peice of information “

      I can never find that balance I like lol

        I could do a channel where I deal with side missions in an incredibly leisurely way and eventually get bored of the game and never finish it. People could hate watch because I barely bother to optimise my stats and equipment.

          Omg I watching this dude play a horror fishing game for like an hour screaming at my tv “upgrade you’re gear!!! You have the money and the upgrade station is right there! “

          I was way to angry for an adult man watching a young adult play a video game.
