To summarize: New study that shows that about 878 former NFL players died between 2016 and 2021. Of those, 215 had brains that tested positive for CTE, but the freaky part is that only 235 brains total were tested. Even allowing for some dramatic self-selection, that’s crazy.

Additionally, the NFL couldn’t get peer review to accept their study showing the new Guardian Cap reduces concussions by 52% but won’t stop publicizing it, and the visually similar cap sold to youth and high school competitions is an even worse product than that.
