Image uploads haven’t worked for 2 days. Additionally, all profile images and previously uploading images are broken.
I feel like every month it’s one thing or another on this instance. And whatever it is usually stays broken for weeks. New community creation has been broken literally for 7+ months.
Should I give it all again, or just give up?
I think the real problem is that nobody keeping the lights on at SDF is using Lemmy on the daily.
Anyway the data recovery from the long outage seems to have partially restored 2 communities I created before it happened, so as best I can tell they now exist as zombie communities with no moderator? Fun stuff. /c/DrugNerds and /c/Virology.
The Great Monthlong Outage earlier this year was what finally made me spin up my own instance. I love sdf, but it really can’t be relied on.
