Assumptions:
- Comet content: 87% ice, 11% rocky silicate, 4% other
- The comet is initially comparable to 4,500 hippopotami tied together with rope (not including the rope itself)
- Nobody is watching, so (I presume) the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is not in effect.

All 102% of the comet, 4500 hiipos long, will get swallowed whole when going through the sun.
That doesn’t surprise me, but what’s the correct way to calculate it?
Measure in hippos, multiply by 1.02.
