Why does the tongue do that?
A lot of times dogs who have to get teeth pulled will have their tongues hang out like that. I’ve had 3 dogs with droopy tongues post-dental work.
I’m not sure as it’s not my dog, but it looks to be some kind of congenital defect, most likely.
That dog appears to be a hairless xolo. Iirc the hairless trait in xolos comes with tooth issues so the dog is probably just missing half his teeth so the tongue just dangles out.
I love the art style! My brother does linoleum prints like that too and it always looks so cool, my dad’s getting a tattoo of one of his prints
