Well summer is over now and now that we are putting our shorts away in the bottoms of our closets for the next 6 months I think now is a good time to reflect on what shorts we liked and what we didn’t and what makes a pair of shorts truly great.
Pic related because one of my favorite shorts this summer was a pair of bright red second hand ocean pacific corduroy shorts. I liked how soft they were and how the short inseam let me show off my legs.

They are fairly common online if you want to get one there. Especially in the fall and into the winter I bet there will not be much demand. Alternatively, there are always short jorts!

Cutting up old jeans into shorts was my favourite. The pockets of jeans were always better at holding stuff
I personally like side entry pockets best, the top entry pockets of jeans are not always as deep as I like. Summer is a rough time for pocket space in general; in the colder months I can wear hunting vests and cargo pants.
