When I show up to work at 9, I work 8 hours + 1 hour lunch break, meaning I’m done at 6. If I go to the gym afterwards, I‘m home by 9, without having had dinner.

The fit guide is maybe a bit oversimplified […]. It’s such a “personal match” that cannot really be conveyed in a short guide.
I agree. There’s a guide yet to be written on fitting chinos - classic vs modern cuts and how they sit, etc. . I guess it’s worthwhile extending this guide with a paragraph that finding the right fit isn’t necessarily straightforward.

Fair call - I guess Decathlon mix-shirt vs uniqlo cotton jersey already gets the point across. I’ll store the coats away for another article.
Two brands that impressed me lately are Marc’o’Polo and Armed Angels, a notch above Uniqlo prices but nice quality :) AA even sells pre-owned items directly on their website.

Hey, I’ve been playing around with writing a Basic Bastard guide for lemmy. This is what I came up with so far, what do you think? Any suggestions for improvement?
Unterschätz mal nicht, was ein Frisör noch rausholt. Entweder kurze Maschinenschnitte, da sieht man die lichten Stellen nicht so. Oder du rockst einen Kranz, der sieht deutlich besser aus, wenn er geschnitten wird - google mal nach Bildern von Bob Odenkirk. Oder du gehst voll rein und gönnst dir ne Rasur der Platte 🥚

Wundert mich jetzt nicht. Freund von mir ist Winzer. Ich trinke gelegentlich, kann bisschen was ab. Aber wenn ich mit seinem Kollegen und ihm einen trinke, wechsel ich irgendwann auf Saft.
