Just played through this again a few days ago after replaying Metroid Dread too. Great stuff.
My favorite moment of this game probably deserves a spoiler tag.
Endgame
The whole game continues to grant you more movement abilities to jump off of enemy bullets, the air, etc. For the final phase of the final boss’s health bar, it literally destroys the ground you’re walking on, and the rest of the fight happens entirely in the air.
