Obviously, peering at someone’s ass can lean towards creepy or voyeuristic. Any woman knows this - many changed over to squatting to pick things up even when alone. So, if she’s okay with a full bend, even if the guy barely even looks, it’s a separate “trust kink” - that she knows he’s there and doesn’t anticipate his mind objectifying her that way.

I struggle to find a good way to express this, but guys like myself since school have grappled with a perception that women “have more social power than them”. Even if the guy isn’t a total loser with a rented home that consists of a TV and a pillow, girls are viewed as a pedestal-standing respected social icon by comparison. That’s definitely not universally actually true, but under young hormones it seems that way.

Hence why pajamas, glasses, or to extend further: VTuber streamers that joke about failing basic life skills, or not showering that week, are often a successful endeavor. They show someone more humanized, disempowered and flawed. Question is whether a woman is okay with accepting a bit of that debasement to put someone at ease.

This kind of thing can even distance victims, making it harder for a woman to seek solace by announcing to a limited group online “My name is X, and I was a victim of rape”. You’re not alone in never finishing RE1, and I’ve played pretty much every other RE game.

If you’re starved for survival horror, Steam has an expansive indie scene with some really good entries on the subject. I could recommend Crow Country and Tormented Souls 1+2 if you haven’t heard of those.

Undecided/apathetic voters are, and you’re again assuming true some bullshit smear campaign, something that will arise for any figure that makes positive statements. A feature pretty close to this is built into Trails in the Sky (remake and original). You can set the default launch option to “Resume latest save”. When you do, hitting play on the game skips all startup logos and the main menu, just giving a quick loading screen then putting you right where you saved.

It won’t restore you to the middle of combat or a cutscene/conversation, but it makes resuming pretty flexible. It would be nice to see other games give attention to this functionality, or at least start to fight supporting technologies on the subject of launch logos.

The only note I think can lead to an outlook like this is the feeling that if someone has never made bad mistakes (eg, developing an addiction, falling in with a bad crowd) they don’t develop an interesting story. I could imagine being a woman and meeting a lukewarm balding guy who says “I’ve responsibly maintained my 401k and am ready to consider children” and just feeling uninspired.

So people at least need some vein of uniqueness to their existence.

I just heard a debate from someone that was adhering very closely to the Marx definition: “Under Communism, money would not exist”.

I can’t affirmatively say it wouldn’t work, but it is such a wild move from where we are, I can’t see pushing it on anyone with any assemblance of caution. Socialism can still be a sliding scale, and we can definitely turn it way up in a world where money exists, without any chance of causing harm.

I’m never sure how to feel about lesbians in anime. 90% of the time, it feels like the writers went “It’s been an hour since something pervy happened, and all I have here are female characters. Time to be woke.”

Didn’t think I’d be giving useful advice in a shitpost, but you can actually replace the foam pad of a BOSE headset. I’ve done it before, and it made it a lot nicer for the forseeable future.
