The 43-year-old American rapper, who has almost 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify, announced his Free Palestine Tour on Thursday, with shows set to take place in Dublin, Paris and London in late October.
Macklemore said he will be joined by other musicians and will announce their names soon. He added that US shows are currently being organised.
He said all proceeds raised from the tour will be donated to causes supporting the Palestinian people and the wider movement.
“If these last couple of weeks have shown us anything, it’s that something has shifted over the last three years,” Macklemore said in a statement.

You know what’s funny is that if Kraft just got over his bitchass self and ignored Macklemore saying free Palestine, none of this would have happened. Sheeran’s tour would have gone like normal, no extra attention would have been drawn to Macklemore’s statement, nobody would have been madder than usual at Kraft and Macklemore wouldn’t have gone on to do a whole tour specifically for Palestine. Same Love, it’s about how gay people are often targeted and that it’s not shameful- kind of a coming out to yourself song.
Otherside, it’s about addiction and loss. This one wrecks me as someone who’s grappled with addiction, and has lost two of my closest people to addiction.
Thrift Shopping may have been his big hit, but he’s always been dedicated to rapping about things that are on the serious side.
