I mean, after it was given to a guy with a sizable stake in USPS’ competitors, I lost all faith in that institution. 🥲
I wish the definition of treason was further laxed. In my eyes this would easily be considered treasonous indent due to the fact that ballots were involved.
I thought it was a federal offense to mess with mail, and so messing with ballots should be super harsh
I’m honestly surprised that tampering/destroying election ballots transiting the postal system isn’t a modifier to the crime of doing the same to any other mail. 🙄
