Free Software is the only software that can be trusted not to betray you in the long run. Proprietary software is inherently not trustworthy, whether zero-price or paid.
They can, but at least you can fork and stay on the version before going to shit.

You misunderstood, it’s a free commercial app because you get to watch the ads for free between segments of the content you’re paying for.
