    Not really powerful, not that new, well understood in academia. It’s just severely misused by people that choose to remain dumb about the tools at their employ. Magical thinking at its finest.

      Marketing the “pretty ok guessing that consumes gigawatts of electricity just to be wrong and make shit up” machine as “AI” was brilliant but will forever scar humanity.

      Maybe if we called it “mechanical inference” or something we’d still have a chance.
