A part of the problem is, in my opinion, a lack of diagnosis of the origins of the problem, the structures and ideologies that make it possible. One of the major aspects of this is private property, a thing that, although rarely mentioned in most discussions, is central to the functioning of capitalism.
Why is private property bad? I don’t want my neighbors in my back yard or on/in/around my house. If we don’t have private property how is that accomplished?
Private and personal property are different things. Private property is generally property by which you exploit the labor of others, personal property is what you use for yourself.
