The majority tolerates and endorses these atrocities, truly a sick society.
One of the issues in Israel is madatory conscription. They use this time to instill these horrible ideas in their heads about how Palestinians aren’t people. This has gone on for generations and now you have youth where everyone they’ve ever known believes this crap. It’s hard to pull yourself out of the echo chamber or even realize you’re in one. I fear for the future of youth everywhere.
Israelis can refuse to join their terror organisation and actually spend less time in jail than they’d spend doing terrorism.
There are people who are known for refusing as well, obviously there are incentives against it, but when the alternative is genocide…
Israeli genocide society highly values joining the terror organisation so getting a job becomes a bit more difficult if they don’t do terrorism first. But that’s really it.
