Can we not say Asperger’s anymore? As someone who was diagnosed with it back when it was called that, preferably let’s NOT call it that anymore.
It was inspiring and motivational until they basically admitted they can’t do their job without generating AI slop.
Ignoring the AI part, I don’t think it was motivational at all. He reeks of “You’ll all see” energy. It’s cringe as a teenager. And this is a grown ass man.
People who do these things don’t need to announce it to the world. They just do it.
I was on his side until then.
Well, as much as I can be on anyone’s side who willingly uses LinkedIn.
How do you unwillingly use it? Are people getting held up at gunpoint and forced to use it?
Same way coworkers are basically nonconsensual friends
Corporate microsoft accounts get it included for free.
I’ve got $50 against ya.
Starts off strong, devolves into to massive loser territory surprisingly quick.

I think that eventually 100% of the posts on LinkedIn will mention AI. It’s already about 85%. Every time I see one, I hit “Not interested” and it does no good.
Every time I see a post on LinkedIn, I delete my account. So far I’ve only had to do it once.
There’s even an option in the overflow menu labelled “Seems like AI slop”.
I’m struggling with who that’s there for, or how egregious the slop needs to be to warrant its use. Damn near the entire site (text and images both) feels pretty slop-tastic, if I report it all what’s even going to be left?
You’ll be training Microsoft’s models not to output text that looks like that. It’s presumably a “thumbs down” for RLHF.
Do it do it
How you going to find out unless you do it?
85% seems low.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these are all scripted to promote AI and ingrain it in the workplace.
I used to report them, but it’s impossible to combat that garbage. LinkedIn heavily promotes AI lunatics and I gave up. Maybe I should use AI to fight AI spam?
It’s not worth going to the dark side
I remember a similar guy who made some products that changed the world, Ted Kaczynski.
Who asked?
we should stop taking so much abuse
