Corned Beef on Sourdough with Muenster Cheese and Pickles!
I love pickles on a sandwich. Multiple people have shown interest when I ate it in front of them, but none have liked it when I gave them a bite. It’s more of an acquired taste perhaps?
Wait…for real? I gotta say, in my mind pickles (or something pickled) are nearly as important to a sandwich as bread. I guess you can make a sandwich without them, but why bother?
Growing up there was always a lot of pickles and sauerkraut around the household, so I got really used to those kinds of flavors early on so I’d bet you’re right on the money
Sigh. Triggered elementary school PTSD from the occasional…ugh…baloney, American cheese and pickle sandwich.
American cheese is such an unfairly judged cheese. Real American cheese is literally cheddar plus more milk, it’s a pretty good cheese. “Cheese product” labeled American cheese that you find in most stores does suck ass of course, but that’s kind of like saying pizza is bad because you don’t like what Chucky Cheese serves.
Oh for me it’s not the cheese, it’s the combo. But point taken.
It smells, feels, and tastes like poverty. But I was raised by a single mom.
Any mustard?
Not on this one, since the pickles were pretty strong I skipped it this time, but I think it would have been an improvement
