Turbo shots. I had a coffee that was quite “modern” tasting with lots of fruityness. It was not very compatible with people that drink “normal” coffee though.

I started trying to get better at steaming small amounts of milk. I drink one coffee in the morning (30-40g espresso + 30g steamed milk).

All tutorials I found on YouTube use >250ml of milk. One dude even said that he “only” uses 200ml if he only steams milk for one drink.

How much milk do you guys put in your coffee??

If I’m going to do a milk drink (usually for my wife or a decaf latte for dessert), it’s typically 36-40g espresso (18g in), 150ml milk. Otherwise I drink without milk.

I bought a whole kilogram of this 500€/kg coffee, I don’t really like it. Granted I’m probably ruining it when I brew it but oh well.

That’s a large sum of money to drop on a big bag of beans. I only ever see small bags of the expensive stuff.

O’ve had very positive experiences with the roastery in the past, so I assumed it would be something special when they said it would be a once in a lifetime experience. I went for the full kilo because a) it was far cheaper per kg than the smaller bags and b) if it’s good I want to drink the full kg. My issue probably is that I’ve found out I’m really into long fermentations which this doesn’t ofc have because the bean is supposed to shine here.

I saw the service guy doing the maintenance on the automatic coffee machine in the office this morning, so I decided to give it a try this afternoon. It’s as good as this coffee can get just after the maintenance is done. It wasn’t good.

Otherwise, my daily morning filter brew is currently Bolivian Caranavi Bio from my local roster.

I read that as atomic coffee and was really interested for a second there. Seems like something you’d see in fallout. Reminds me of nuka-cola.
