UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband has accused Jewish “terrorists” of carrying out ethnic cleansing in the occupied West Bank with the tacit backing of the government, as Britain announced sweeping measures alongside France and Canada targeting trade and activities linked to Jewish settlements.
Miliband said Britain would formally recognize Israel’s occupation of the West Bank as unlawful in its entirety. He described this acknowledgment as “the least the people who face such suffering deserve. And it should be the prelude to justice.”
The measures include an import ban on goods from illegal settlements, sanctions on services such as construction and financing, and a ban on UK advertising for settlement properties. This is theater imo, but I will say that there is a skeleton here of something that could be used as sanctions against the zionist entity entirely. Not much, but more than I was expecting if I’m being honest.
They can’t afford otherwise. The economy is a wreck, the government is unstable, politics is breaking up, poverty and hardship are skyrocketing, exploitation increases, the military is a mess, and people are angry at how complicit their country is in the both the genocide in Gaza and the meatgrinder called Ukraine (although the latter has more to do with the economic impact than morality). They have to let off steam somewhere.

Independent MP Jeremy Corbyn has issued a direct demand to British Prime Minister Andy Burnham to formally declare Israel’s actions in Gaza a genocide and launch an immediate public inquiry into the UK’s role in supporting the campaign.

This district overlooks the port of Al-Mokha and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The Saudi air force is reportedly extensively bombing the area.
**Anyone familiar with mountain fighting knows that once Ansarallah capture any heights, dislodging them is a near impossibility, specially via air strikes.
