    Threw a bunch of super wet wood in it at the “end” hoping to dampen it down to go to bed. Instead the wood almost instantly dried and caught fire. I reluctantly sighed that I was going to have to babysit it for a little while longer and cracked another beer. My wife will probably be mad at me for staying up too late and being tired tomorrow morning.

      Extinguishing a fire with wood isn’t something I’d have thought of.

      Usually we had drained enough beers to pee an end to it. Then again … that was camping in the woods, not in the backyard.

      You had no choice but to pour a heavy smoked whisky (t.ex. Laphroaig) and wait it out.
