On Sunday morning, before the sun is over Sydney Heads, up to 40 current and former soldiers of the Israel Defence Forces will jog across the Sydney Harbour Bridge with numbers pinned to their chests and a cheer squad waiting at the Opera House.

On Thursday night in Perth, a stage will be empty. Bassem Youssef will not be on it. Home Affairs wanted an FBI clearance and a criminal record from Egypt, whose generals forced him into exile in 2014. His passport had lapsed. Cairo took its time. The tour is gone.

Fucking embarrassing how little pressure it takes Labor to cave to literal Zionist Lobby pressure tactics that cost them far more in the US, breaking against their own longstanding laws and policy as the reporter points out.

Though I will say that they are helping me convert former Labor voters into future Greenies. So… not a total loss.

This excellent (as always) reporting from MWM is helping.

100%. The Labor party is beyond reform and people who identify as left-wing really ought to abandon it en masse for parties that actually represent their values.

There’s literally no downside to leaving the Labor party for another party.

That’s not going to happen in the general populace. The most likely outcome would be giving more room to scum like Liberals and especially One Nation to seize power and reign terror here at home.

        Don’t pull an American Retardation.

Our voting system is nothing like the Americans. Hence people should abandon the Labor party and strengthen others by getting active there instead, all while preferencing Labor above the Liberals and One Nation.

Liberals and One Nation only have space because how pathetic the Labor Party is at providing a viable left-wing alternative that people are actually excited for. People are swayed by One Nation because their material conditions have worsened, which is the culmination of decades of neo-liberalism ushered in large part by the Labor Party.

I’ll say it again, left wing people should abandon the Labor party because it’s been going this way for decades.

Join a party who shares your values.

We don’t have first past the post, so your point makes no sense.

The State Premier for NSW, Chris Minns is very happily in bed with rightwing Israeli forces. Importing foreign state actors (last month is was a bunch of IDF athletes).

This is because whilst being from the nominally leftwing Labor party, he’s from its rightwing faction.

Ah yes, let’s let murderous psychopaths known as the IDF freely move through our country.

I sit and listen in meetings as we acknowledge aboriginal people’s and then I have to listen to modern day Nazis get a pat on the back.

Israel being treated with kindness is a spit in the face to aboriginals too.

    Fuck Israel

Who the fuck thought letting child murdering IDF inhumans into our country was a good idea? And if they’re citizens, then fuck them off to Israel anyway, since the IDF’s undisputable zeal for mass murder is incompatible with modern Australian values! Or, at least, it fucking should be!

I guess it’s to ‘delete’ the March for Humanity that walked across the Bridge in 2025 and have the ‘final word’: a jog for inhumanity.
