Just saw this abomination in my local supermarket 😅

Has anyone tried this yet?

I am genuinely intrigued honestly. Years ago, James Hoffmann did a video on extracting a donut’s flavor into coffee. Tried that and probably because I cut some corners it didn’t turn out great.

But I still think about that sometimes 🌝

Yeah. It was bad in coffee and worse on its own. That’s coming from someone who really likes oat milk

I also tried their matcha flavoured oat milk just for shits and giggles. Unsurprisingly, it was unimpressive. It tasted strangely similar to soy milk.

Whoever came up with this idea was clearly eating too many gummies, as well as the people who approved it.

I don’t really like oat milk, but I do like unsalted butter in coffee. As such I could see this tasting better than it sounds.

Dang, the real freaks are always in the comments 💪

You do you, but butter and coffee are way out of my comfort zone 😅

unsalted butter is just cream with less water in it.

IMO you can’t authentically call yourself a coffee buff if you haven’t tried it. Unsalted butter!!

It’s not weird in some cultures. I think I’ve read in Malaysia they do that.

Yep went to search it, and there’s kopi gu you that’s still consumed in Malaysia and Singapore.

funny since it’s also a thing to add salt to coffee to make it less bitter. So maybe I would like this creamer lol.

Nope. And I would pass on this. I already had to deal with Bailey’s flavoured coffee that was a gift and I had to drink. Terrible muck.

As in bailey’s flavored preground coffee? Ouch.

I’m thinking worst case I use it for my daily bowl of cereal.

Yup. Did not taste like Baileys or coffee. Only way to drink it was with a heavy dose of monk fruit sweetener.

Had to look that up. You are talking about the popcorn flavored jelly bellys?

I think the last time I had those was back when the later Harry Potter movies were being released. These bertie bott’s things were awful, so I very much believe you 😁

Yessssss. This was before the every flavor, and I hated the popcorn. Worst by far. Like a little bomb in a handful of jellybeans.
