Good performances, interesting concept, writing was decent to meh, pacing was bad - particularly at the end, and it’s one of those movies that goes from a dark place to a worse place. A significant part of the plot felt contrived, and it definitely felt preachy and overlong. I ended up punching out with about 10 minutes to go because it was just wallowing in an obvious ending.

I won’t call it the “Feel Bad Movie of the Year”, but it’s definitely vying for the title.

Hugh was good tho - I didn’t even recognize him. Wish the direction, editing, and writing had been better.
