My 16-year-old son eats around 5 cigarettes per day. I feel like this is too much for his age. As quitting is not an option, what would a healthy amount be?
5 cigarettes a day is fine, just make sure they’re made out of chocolate.
At 16, your son’s body is still developing and a diet of 5 cigs per day definitely could be hazardous to his development, so you are right to be concerned. A child’s body needs very different nutrients compared to an adult, so it should be your job to give him the nourishment he needs and deserves. So next time you see your underage son eating a cigarette, make sure he gets a unit of the strongest alcohol you have at home per every 3 cigarettes he eats, for his health.
In addition to what everyone else has said: Make sure they discard the filters before consuming the cigarettes. Filters are designed to collect chemicals, so it’s best to discard them.
15-35 a cig a day keeps thr docter away
Very true, but a carton a day keeps the reaper away.
5 cigarettes are indeed too many to eat daily for a 16-year-old. And you are very prudent to seek advice about this issue.
