I’ve stopped defending my spouse when people get pissy about us parking in the handicap spot but only because instead of justifying why we need to use it, I just tell them to fuck off and call the cops if they think we’re breaking the law. So far nobody has.
Although NOW they need a wheelchair most days so it’s no longer “invisible” while we’re getting out of the car.
Legitimately if you feel a non-disabled person might be using something, shut your fucking mouth because unless you KNOW they aren’t disabled in some way, you’re just mocking someone for having an issue that isn’t immediately visible, and you’re a cunt.
That’s easily remedied by displaying a blue badge. If you don’t have a blue badge and think you require one then speak to a GP.
People should absolutely be defending the use of disabled spaces by people not displaying blue badges, otherwise every lazy egotistical twat and his dog will use them. Preventing those that actually need them from access.
It’s quite prominently displayed in the window and on the license plate.
They’re arguing we don’t need it.
Ok this context changes everything, I love asking people who park in disabled parking if they require the said parking, then immediately if they say “No, I will just be quick in and out” that they can quickly park in normal parking and quickly go in and out.

I just had this conversation internally with myself while eating lunch in a parking lot. On the surface, it looked like some twat with more dollars than sense parked their fancy gimmick car in one of two reserved wheelchair-accessible spots because they would “just be a minute” and rules only apply to other people. It might even be true. BUT. I don’t know that for sure. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt takes zero effort. Do better, me.
I’m so bad about judging people who “don’t look like they need to park there” but i don’t confront people about it. I also definitely need to do better about that
Women missing a leg, men missing a penis, and folk taking massively long, curved shits are all welcome here.
Are curved shits actually a disability? I thought that was just a large meal when that happens
If you’ve never been backed up enough that what comes out is nearly as long and thick as one of your arms and makes you stand up off the throne as it emerges because it’s too thick to snap under it’s own weight so it emerges from the toilet bowel like a demonic chocolatey tendril… well, you’re lucky.
Aye, some shits qualify as a disability.
Wow I’ve never had that
If you’d like to give it a go just start abusing meth and/or opiates so you stop going poo, but continue eating large pizzas because you’re a tubby fuck. Just have an exorcist and therapist both on speed dial.
lol sounds like you have experience in this. if I try it I’ll make sure to think of you <3
Some people are politicians, or middle managers and you wouldn’t even know it.
Some are English.
I just came across this story and thought it relevant.
When I started campaigning there were only two Changing Places toilets in Glasgow. Today, there are around 26 facilities across the city, showing just how much progress has been made.
