    Anecdotally: the crazy heat domes have had devastating impacts on our local plant life.

    We normally have drenching rains after heat above 90 (32ish), like if it’s that hot during the day it’s gonna dump rain at night.

    This helps the ground not become baked hard during high heat and full sun.

    We do get baked ground during months long droughts normally.

    During he heat comes as didn’t get the drenching rains at night, the heat held the moisture at bay.

    When we did get the crazy drenching rain after a few days it ran off instead of soaking the ground and eroded so much.

    Like a months long drought happened in 3 days time.

    And it’s happened 2x this summer already.
