    You gotta get them once. I had one cat try to reach between the door of a closet. Didn’t see her, fortunately closed it slowly. She screamed bloody murder of course. Didn’t do damage, but you know what she hasn’t tried again since?

    Never mind. I looked again and see it’s an orange. That’s a hopeless cause there.

    My cat shares her life motto with Darkwing Duck, “let’s get dangerous.” Her current favourite is silently flopping down by my office chair and putting her tail directly behind a wheel…

      My cat likes to stretch out and sleep on the bottom step of my stairs so I have to double check for the stair cat now.

    I would have added a flap to the hinge side that blocks arms getting in. But you don’t want solutions, you just want me to listen empathetically to your ongoing failures. :p

      If the flap blocks the cat will lay down and reach up under, but at least the pinch won’t be as bad.

    You’d think he/she would have learned. My cat hit his head on the ceiling fan one time and is now always watching out for it whenever he’s close to the ceiling.

    But this is an orange cat, so the rules are different.
