    china and its not close, second largest scientific language is chinese and chinese leads 3rd place by a wide margin

    maybe france and germany will collab to be the new homelands of capital

    Seems pretty obvious that it’s going to be China given that China sits at the centre of production of most of the things the rest of the world consumes meaning that the global economy is centred on China.

    My vote goes to Iceland. No army means they can’t go around invading countries whenever they feel like it, which seems like a solid improvement

      that’s where most of the tribute created by the petrodollar system and the military dominance goes to. The USA is the only country in the world allowed to print endless money thanks to the violence of its army. The tributes don’t flow from the core to the periphery but from the periphery to the center.
