In light of recent scamming allegations and bans handed out, we’ve updated the comm rules to include two baseline requirements for requesting aid on this comm. These changes are intended to help keep the lowest effort and most predatory scammers out of the community, without raising the barrier to entry too high. See the previous thread about scammers as well as Hestia’s rule suggestion thread for some further context.

• New Rule 2: Accounts must be at least 3 months old to post mutual aid requests. Exceptions can be made with comm moderator or admin approval.

• New Rule 3: Accounts requesting aid must have some prior posting history on the site outside of the mutual aid comm. Exceptions can be made with comm moderator or admin approval.
