A new study has shown that data centres are making neighbourhoods downwind from them hotter by as much as two degrees celsius.

      Heating up the neighbourhood is only one of the many issues with AI datacenters.

      Plus, Alaska also has a summer season, and also experience an increasing number of heatwaves.

      So the best solution to this is: don’t build new datacenters.
