The 3 tankers were targeted because the MOU was breached. No casualties.
What is the US going to achieve by these strikes? All out warfare? Another hiccup?
A point will come, if it hasn’t already, when Iran won’t put up with this anymore. The US is hitting Iran when they are in the midst of funeral ceremonies for their ex-supreme leader and his family who were all killed in their home by a US airstrike. How do you think Iranians are going to react? How would we react if we were in their place? They have shown considerable restraint. How long that will last is another matter.
The oil markets.
Meanwhile Israel keeps gouging out its end of the ME, destroying the lives, physically or socially, of millions of people. And we’re all standing round shuffling our feet.
A point will come, if it hasn’t already, when Iran won’t put up with this anymore.
I don’t think there is much the current rulers of Iran can really do about it apart from what they are already doing. They’re as dependant on the current global economic system as any other ruling class or caste.
I think what they have been doing has been relatively successful. I don’t really think they need to change up the strategy, at least not yet.
I guess we’ll see.
The dumbest war in American history
