For both scenarios, assume all the Michael Jacksons are in their physical prime, completely bloodlusted, and won’t stop until they get you. You can use whatever you find lying around. But there is one crucial rule: you cannot injure or kill them. The most you can do is temporarily stun them.
In the first scenario, you’re locked in a massive shopping mall being hunted by a single Michael Jackson. You have to survive for 24 hours. If you successfully evade him for 24 hours, you walk away with $5 million.
The second option drops you straight into a small, somewhat isolated village. This time, there are ten Michael Jacksons hunting you, and you have to survive for a full 48 hours. The real kicker is that every 6 hours, your exact location is revealed to all of them for 5 seconds. This means you can’t just find a good spot and camp there forever, they will eventually converge on you. But if you manage to pull this off, the prize is a massive $50 million. Can injure them in this case.
Nobody says Michael has the keys. Go into a store, shut the drop down bars, wait 24 hours.

A village surrounded by hinterland seems promising, actually. I just set off in a direction for a while, and pick a slightly different one every hour or so. Assuming MJ lacks tracking skills, that seems at least as promising as being under a stack of stuffies in a mall.
If they weren’t dancers in their physical prime, I’d have a good chance of outpacing them, and then it would basically be a guaranteed victory. Ditto if we all end up on vehicles.
If I have to stay in the village, well, the mall’s probably bigger, so obviously that.
Does MJ have weapons in either scenario? Are they also allowed to use what they find?
