Bluetooth and step tracker? So it’s a new-retro watch?
Yep. I believe some makers got together and designed a Bluetooth module for the legendary F-91W a few years ago. Casio took notes and decided to design and release this thing in response
Is the step counter reliable?
Fairly reliable. It’s not exact (no step counter is) and a dedicated fitness device like a Garmin smartwatch will likely be more accurate, but this is more than good enough for a fairly solid idea of how many steps (within the nearest hundred) you’re getting a day
Thanks! My daily aim is > 8000 steps, so reliable within a margin of 100 steps is totally fine.
Another question, if you don’t mind: can you de-activate the Bluetooth? (I would prefer a non Bluetooth watch with step counter, but those seems to be not made anymore.)
Deactivate Bluetooth from the watch? Not that I’m aware of. You can, however, just not get the Casio app to connect it to your phone, at which point it’ll just be an inert step counter
Retro cyborg. Love it.
