The woman they cite as an “accuser” is a career Republican operative who worked at the Heritage Foundation and founded Ladies for Kavanaugh to get Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. There is some discussion that she actually wrote talking points Senator Collins used to justify her vote to put him on the Supreme Court.
