That’s what the protests are the beginning of, the US population has not had a very successful popular progressive movement since the 60s. We’re rusty and the younger generation are inexperienced at this but we’re gathering momentum.

They were some of the most inspiring people I met yesterday. It’s great seeing people my parents age that are engaged and want to make the world a better place for their kids and grandkids.
I was thinking these leaf scoopers would make good improvised bucklers.
Same for finance. They’ve successfully socialized the risk of stock investing, why not governmemt coups?
I’m more concerned with the Russian and Israeli yokes around the necks of members of congress.
I didn’t say you were wrong, either. :)
Vaguely related: I wasn’t a fan of the Hogsbreath nickname folks were using. It wasn’t targeted enough. I like Pete Kegs’n’Death.
Many years ago I was part of a team that put a cream cheese machine online for the first time. I didn’t know what would follow.
I hate to defend the turd at all, but he was in the military.
That only means he can follow orders, though, which he is doing phenomenal job of doing.

There’s a glimmer of hope that they would.
That was the acceleration point of the downward slide we’d been on since Reagan.
That spring is also a good visual to help illustrate what is meant by “gravity well”.
Try Language Transfer. It’s a very different approach from rote memorization.
Everything is awesome.

Requiem for a Dream’s main theme
“Cyber criminals gain unauthorized access to home networks by either configuring the product with malicious software prior to the users purchase or infecting the device as it downloads required applications that contain backdoors, usually during the set-up process,” explains the FBI.
So why isn’t the FBI working around the clock to find out how devices are being infected with malware before entering customer’s homes? Seems to me that’s the really big story here. They should be compiling a list of products, recalling them, and fining the costs back to the manufacturer or whatever financial and legal recourse is available to provide justice for the victims.

As always please read the articles for the full picture and nuance.
Wisconsin is not an outlier in this. There are many jobs in the USA that take more training than the police which do not carry deadly weapons and have blanket immunity to use them.
