It’s actually tragic they’re putting this slop out, too, because some of their content is kinda good. But anyone doing “Communism v. Anarchism” discourse right now, during the fascist takeover of the West - especially if they themselves are a Westerner - is just being a complete wrecker.
Yeah, man. The best people to attack right now is other Leftists. Not the genocidal ghouls waging global wars for profit. Even if anarchist analysis is correct and all the figures in the thumbnail are evil imperialists its still intellectually dishonest to argue that they’re just as bad as Western imperialists or that opposing them is just as important.
Like… no? These people don’t run the world, they don’t have the power projection capable of being the same level of a global threat and until the West falls they couldn’t even potentially be. Learn to pick your battles and not fight everybody at the same time. Trotsky is not an example to follow.
This person doesn’t define imperialism but their entire position relies on basically everyone who resist imperialism just being another imperialist state. Essentially this person has adopted Western Marxism which requires that you have no ability to express power, no ability to defend your movement, and no concept of transition between world systems.
And they unironically supported the idea that not fighting the Nazis was an option and because the USSR fought the Nazis they were not anti-war.
The fact that he says he spent a lot of time researching for this piece is honestly very very sad. It’s got such little evidence of research of historical facts and almost zero evidence of research into the historical discourse on these very topics except that they went around trying to cherry pick quotations about campism.
I mean “campism” is just a slur für anti-imperialism. Anyone using it does not argue in good faith.

These people look at the destruction and misery that their governments are inflicting upon the rest of the world and their reaction is to huff and puff at the only countries that are actively challenging western terror.
