You can drown in a bathtub. Depends on the situation.

That there were two and one had some medical issues, that suggests in my mind the lifeguard danger, where someone panicking can also drown their rescuer.

Or sure, it’s a conspiracy of Big Canal. What does the evidence suggest?

You are really trying to push a narrative that you can’t drown in a canal.

Between alcohol, rocks and the height between the edge and bottom of a canal you absolutely can drown because you can’t move from an injury.

They are not all 2-4ft deep, some are much deeper. Swam in canals before and somehow not caught some awful disease from it. No idea how deep it was because we couldn’t touch the bottom.

The depth will also often vary within the same canal. Then you also have panic or injuries that can be sustained during a fall in that could result in not being able to stand up even if it’s shallow.

You seem fixated on this, okay, fine. Say that this was a murder scenario, what do police have to gain by covering things up? Why was a disabled man and his caretaker targeted by a murderer?

You say that like authorities have never been corrupt or bribed/threatened by crime organizations.

And what organized crime operation is running in leeds? What motive do they have to push an old man and his caretaker into a canal, hold them under and drown them? I don’t see what financial gain a criminal organization would have here for a possible murder charge

Being pushed into a canal would be harmless. You would simply stand up, soaking wet in waist depth water. It’s possible they were held under. Dare I say it’s the most likely explanation?

I would say it’s more likely they hit their heads or the disabled man couldn’t get up on their own. Unless there’s a strong reason for financial or personal gain, I don’t see it being likely that criminals would opt for a murder charge when they could just bowl an old man over and take his wallet.

I’m sorry this lead is flimsy at best. I’ve been drinking and even im having no trouble poking holes in it.

If this is important to you I would suggest maybe looking more into the background of the case

There can also be things in the water you get caught in as well as injured by. Canals are often used as dumping grounds.
