Up until this post; I had always assumed that my code was shit because I’ve never been formally educated on it and came from an IT background that emphasized just getting it to work over any other concerns like security.

None of these seem to support your original claim of ethnic cleansing. The war crimes seem to be well documented on both sides and the ones responsible must face justice but that does not lead to the conclusion that there is or was ethnic cleansing being conducted.
