The Iran war has exposed the fragility of the global energy system as countries remain dependent on fossil fuels. Could renewables like wind, solar, hydropower and photovoltaic shield people from the shock?

This is my big thing. People are worried because it’s harder for average Americans to drive because of the war. I say good! It’s about time they wake up and realize how dependant on gas they are. Its time that people start connecting that gas is expensive and we need to look at alternative energy sources. The rest of the world knows it, we need to learn it.
Ironically what they started the war over (oil) hopefully be highlighted for how hard it is to acquire
