VOY s5e11 "Latent Image
I know it’s not an egg, but work with me here. And if anyone does know, what fruit is it? There’s a bowl of them shown before the Doc has a fit.
It’s possible that the bowl has something completely different from what she’s holding based on my research into onscreen leola root.
The Doc uses them in his rant about choice.
The one on the left (his right) looks like an egg that was soaked in vinegar (it looks slightly deformed where he’s holding it)
Agreed, which is part of what led to the post. Here’s a shot that shows the stem:
Do you think the bowl of brownish/tan ones could be some sort of meringue cookie?
Sounds about right. More importantly, that would be awesome to have a handful of right now.
Alright I’m fairly certain the red ones are pomegranates.

It looks like someone spray-painted apricots.
They look more ovular, but about right size.
