Summer holidaymakers opting for ‘more familiar, easy-to-reach locations’ as travel industry counts cost of Middle East conflict
These types of news stories always seem somehow off to me. There’s always 2 thoughts. The first one is always,“Well, yeah, no shit”. The second falls into the “bombs are dropping, people are dying, and…oh no, you have to switch your vacation destination” weirdness.
I remember of that dude who said that he explicitly only takes vacations in countries with conflicts present because the tickets are cheaper that way.
