They’re probably also preparing for the time when their own customers switch to AI too and stop needing Atlassian altogether.
Their Rovo completely sucks but I’ve linked Confluence to ChatGPT and it’s a godsend. If only their UI weren’t complete garbage I wouldn’t need a third-party LLM to find things.
Don’t even get me started on Jira.
I used Jira and Confluence in a previous job. Let’s just say it’s one of the reasons why I was so glad to change job.
The other day I wanted to make a new Space (I didn’t realize I didn’t have credentials) so I searched their documentation and it brought up like 14 long-winded documents about spaces. Nothing said “just go to this page, click this link, then that link.”
I gave up and submitted feedback saying “gave up, I’m just trying to create a Space.”
