I would love to know the correlation between this, life expectancy, and health issues per state and see how they line up.
Mississippi here, the going term that my elders say is that we live in Cancer Alley.
Strangely that also seems to somewhat align with the Bible Belt…
I’m skeptical of this list. I’ve lived in Colorado and Maryland and there is no way Maryland is healthier than Colorado.
Idk how you’d compare the impact of 99 factors relative to each other to make the rating. So life expectancy is probably the better all encompassing metric, but as you’d expect, wealth is very high impact in that. So #1 is Hawaii and #50 is Mississippi - 10 year avg difference
