That’s precisely why organized labour has been systematically dismantled in the US. Back in the day there were strong unions, mutual support groups, and so on. These systems are key for workers to be able to take collective action like general strikes.

Sociopathic, no compassion, everything they do is for their own selfish gratification and they feel no remorse for manipulating & hurting others. They don’t do it on purpose, their brains are just missing the empathy parts. They’re also incapable of feeling embarrassment, shame, remorse, self- reflection, seeking self-improvement, because that part of their brain is missing, which comes across as extreme confidence & arrogance & they’re intimidating & powerful. (President Trump has this heinous birth defect too, undeveloped pre-frontal correx.)
It’s terrifying because those are the types of people who end up in positions of authority because business structure & capitalism exploit everything a human can produce, exploiting us with no empathy. Businesses & capitalism are run by sociopaths & psychopaths because to them, money is more important than people. As long as the people on top end up with all the money. That’s how the brains of people with undeveloped prefrontal cortexes are wired.
And these same types of people are the ones ritualistically abusing murdering & consuming children. My (ex-)bf probably hopefully never knew about such things before, at least he never alluded anything about it to me, but I’m certain if he had the opportunity he would join such groups. Because psychopathy/sociopathy, interest in religion & people but not the healthy aspects of religion & people, the power & structure & rituals & fellowship of religion. And the bonding opportunities & exploitability of humans. Devoid of feelings & compassion. Seeking only power & personal satisfaction & gain everywhere they go, in everything they do, from everyone they encounter.
